Jonathan Burden is from Exeter originally and he returned to Devon after graduating with an Honours degree in Modern European Studies. He has spent most of this time working in the South West with a short time in the City of London with Thomson Reuters. Jonathan has held various positions in Financial Services since 1995, including advising his own clients and several leadership positions, most recently as a Regional Manager at NatWest where he improved client outcomes and internal controls and was an integral member of several senior Boards / Controls Groups. He joined Quilter Private Client Advisers in 2018 with overall responsibility for the growth and development of the South West regional office, drawing on his considerable experience and expertise in the industry.

Brian is a Chartered Financial Planner and Chartered Wealth Manager who provides an holistic approach to financial planning for individuals, businesses and trusts.  Brian has worked with solicitors (he is an Associate of STEP), accountants and stockbrokers. Brian specialises in helping clients and their families achieve their financial goals through tax advantageous investment strategies and planning. This can only be achieved having gained a thorough understanding of a client’s circumstances. Brian is keen to develop close working relationships with clients and it is this personal approach that he believes is key.

Andrew has worked in financial services for over 15 years and has experience in all areas of planning for high net worth individuals, including hospital consultants, GPs and surgeons, with particular expertise in pensions, investments and inheritance tax. This has often involved complex solutions, working closely with solicitors and accountants to ensure quality advice for his clients. Andrew likes to engage with his clients on a regular basis in order to build and maintain long-term relationships built on trust and integrity in order to give the best advice possible.

Ian has been in Financial Services for the last 17 years starting in personal finance and then moving into a role as a Manager at HSBC Bank. In 2008 Ian decided to become a Financial Planner for the bank and this is where his career as a Financial Adviser started. Since then, he has gained a lot of valuable experience during his 11 years as a Financial Adviser within the different roles he has held. He believes good quality, holistic financial advice should be at the heart of everything we do for our clients. His main focus is on investments, pensions and estate planning, however, Ian also has extensive knowledge when it comes to corporate financial planning. In his spare time, Ian enjoys giving back to his community as a Retained Firefighter for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
