Previously situated just south of the Dales on the banks of the Aire, we are now based in the heart of Leeds city centre and ideal location to take care of our clients in Yorkshire and the North East. Richard Fraser – Regional Financial Planning Director

Richard has worked in financial services for over 35 years and has held many senior management roles leading teams of financial planners in the insurance, wealth management and banking sectors. For 6 years prior to joining Quilter Private Client Advisers Richard lead a large team of regulated financial services professionals working alongside the industry regulator (the FCA) and several large financial institutions. He has developed and implemented many processes that have resulted in ‘quality’ outcomes for clients. He joined Quilter Private Client Advisers in August 2017 and now has the responsibility for the growth and development of the Yorkshire and Birmingham regions, drawing on his considerable leadership experience.

Patrick has 20 years’ experience in Financial services having joined the profession following completion of his Economics degree at Liverpool University. He specialises in providing bespoke tailored financial advice to individual clients. He has attained the level 4 Diploma for Financial Advice. He is currently studying for his Chartered status.

Olivia joined the profession in 1999, working for one of the “big four” banks, gaining a wealth of experience in individual financial advice. Olivia completed further qualifications and is authorised to give specialist personal, corporate and final salary pension advice. Olivia believes in developing deep and lasting relationships with her clients, to ensure her advice is bespoke to their needs and goals. Olivia is currently studying for Chartered adviser status. When not at work Olivia is a keen equestrian, owning and competing her own horses.

Lindy Kroese – Financial Planner

Lindy Kroese takes pride in developing strategies to grow and protect wealth. She graduated in the highest designation as a certified financial planner through the University of Stellenbosch in Cape Town, South Africa, which also used to be her home country. Her first job as a financial planner was with Old Mutual South Africa where she quickly established herself as one of the top three financial planners in her area and subsequently offered a highly sought after position as successor of a well-established financial planning practice inside her organisation.

Lindy will be quick to admit that the grass is in fact greener on the other side as she transferred to Old Mutual Wealth in the UK. She has since obtained her UK qualification in financial planning through the London institute of Banking and Finance. She has nine years’ experience in the industry and believes that quality of service makes all the difference.

Brandon Lamam – Financial Planner

Brandon joined the financial services industry in March 2016 and is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. He started his career as a paraplanner and has experience across all aspects of financial planning, including retirement planning, defined benefit pension transfers, investments and inheritance tax mitigation.

Brandon aims to build long-term relationships with his clients and provide the highest quality of advice to help them meet their financial goals. He believes it is important to deliver a high level of service at all times and ensuring that any solution is specifically tailored to each individual.

Jonathan Merrick – Financial Planner

Jonathan Merrick – Financial Planner

Jonathan has worked in Financial Services for twenty-six years and is level four qualified. He focuses on looking after families to ensure their wealth is protected to pass on to future generations. Much of his work involves cash modelling to ensure clients can be confident in living their lives particularly in retirement without the fear of running out of money. Many of Jonathans clients have been with him now for over fifteen years which he puts down to trust and a friendly down to earth approach.

Richard graduated with a degree in Business and Financial Services from Nottingham Trent University in 2004. Subsequently, he has enjoyed 12 years working in the financial services industry offering wealth structuring, investment, pension and estate planning solutions for private and corporate clients. His most recent position was with a global private bank, advising high net worth investors. Richard’s professional development has been driven by his aim to provide high quality and comprehensive advice to clients and he is now a Chartered Financial Planner.

Richard believes it is important to develop trust and good working relationships with his clients and by understanding their needs and goals he generates successful financial plans.

Steve Kennedy – Financial Planner

Steve joined the finance industry in 1998, with his first role as an Operations Manager for a large bank based in Leeds. Since then he has worked in many roles, specialising in compliance and advice reviews.

Steve received his Level 4 Diploma for Financial Advice in 2013 and continues his studies towards reaching Chartered Status, receiving the LIBF Pension Transfer Specialists (PTS) level 6 qualification early in 2019, allowing him to advise clients on Final Salary (Defined Benefit) Pensions.

He specialises in providing bespoke advice in all aspects of financial planning and building long term relationships with his clients. Steve is dedicated to providing excellent customer service whilst meeting his clients financial needs and objectives.

Freddie Taylor - Financial Planner

Freddie joined the financial services industry after graduating from Sheffield Hallam University with an Upper Second Class Honours degree in Business and Marketing. He subsequently attained his Level 4 Diploma for Financial Advisers through the Quilter Financial Adviser School and is currently working towards Chartered Financial Planner status.

Freddie enjoys building long-term relationships with his clients, creating bespoke financial plans to help them achieve their long-term financial goals and objectives.
