Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers rebrands as Quilter Private Client Advisers

Quilter plc is today pleased to confirm the successful rebrand of its national financial planning business to Quilter Private Client Advisers.

The rebrand from Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers follows the renaming of its parent company to Quilter plc. Quilter plc separated from Old Mutual plc in June 2018 and listed on the London and Johannesburg stock exchanges.

Quilter Private Client Advisers was created in 2015 and has established a national presence through a series of acquisitions and organic recruitment growth, and now has six regional hubs in Devon, Cumbria, Chester, London, Yorkshire and Birmingham.

Across these six regions the company is responsible for advising over 5,600 households across the United Kingdom.

Quilter Private Client Advisers was established to serve affluent and high net worth individuals and their families, and over a third (38%) of its clients have in excess of £1m in personal wealth with the national financial advisory business.

In 2018, Quilter Private Client Advisers has acquired Wiltshire-based A&M Financial Services, Scotland-based DG Pryde and the Carlisle based advisory arm of Saint & Co. These acquisitions have added around £340m of assets under advice to its national planning business.

Nigel Speirs, managing director at Quilter Private Client Advisers, says:

“It has been an incredibly rewarding, busy and exciting few years for our national business since it launched in 2015. Over the past few years the business has expanded both organically and through strategic acquisitions and today’s rebrand to Quilter Private Client Advisers represents the next step in our journey.

“Customers are always at the heart of everything we do and we look forward to continuing to give them the best possible outcomes under our new brand.”

Michelle Andrews, chief marketing officer, Quilter, adds:

“One of Quilter’s beliefs is in the value of face to face advice. It was therefore important to complete this rebranding early in the process of becoming Quilter.

“Quilter is a brand that stands for quality, personal service and dependability. These values are at the heart of the private client adviser business, which provides excellent face to face advice to help customers achieve the prosperity they desire.”
