Chris entered the Financial Services industry in 1988 and set up his own company in 1990 as an IFA before selling the business in 2017. He concentrates on holistic financial planning using cash flow modelling specialising in the area of pension and investment planning. Chris sees the importance of long term relationships with clients some of whom he has been looking after for nearly 30 years.

Paul has spent over nine years meeting the financial needs of his clients, both previously in an independent capacity as an independent financial adviser and also as a senior financial planner with a large insurance company. He has a particular passion for building and maintaining lifelong financial strategies which will continue to suit his clients’ needs on an ongoing basis. In order to ensure the best possible levels of service, Paul is qualified across a range of financial disciplines and is continuing his professional development by working towards chartered status.

Philip is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and was a partner in Saint & Co, a local firm of Chartered Accountants, for over 26 years in their Financial Services Division before the division was acquired by Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers in June 2018.

In addition he holds the Diploma for Financial Advice and has over 26 years experience in the Financial Services Industry providing clients with holistic financial planning

He is passionate about providing clients with the highest levels of ongoing service and his main areas of expertise are long term investment planning, retirement planning and inheritance tax mitigation planning.

Brett has over 40 years’ experience in the financial services industry with the last 17 years as a Director and adviser with Dodd Murray Limited in Carlisle. Brett’s main area of expertise is in the area of pensions and retirement planning with the qualifications that allow him to give advice in the more complex area of final salary pension schemes. He believes that good communication with clients is essential for a long term relationship based on trust and integrity.

David has over 14 years’ experience of working in financial services including more recently working for a specialist award winning mutual providing advice for Medical Professionals. David has a wealth of knowledge and experience in dealing with high net worth clients including all aspects of financial planning including savings and investments, estate planning and retirement planning solutions.  

David holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and is well on the way to becoming a Chartered Financial Planner. He also has a specialism in providing advice for long term care and Group Pensions. He enjoys building long term client relationships and being able to provide full holistic financial planning for his clients and their families.

Nina joined Quilter in April 2019 as a qualified Financial Planner. In addition to her diploma Nina holds the certificates in Long Term Care planning and Mortgage planning. She is fully committed to continuing her professional development by working towards Chartered Status.

Nina has experience in business management by owning and managing her own business and more latterly gaining experience as a Finance Manager before moving into the financial services industry.

Nina strongly believes in consistently giving clients excellent customer service by offering them honest, face-to-face advice in a friendly and approachable manner which builds strong, long term, trusted relationships that are beneficial to her clients and their families.

Oliver is originally from Carlisle. After graduating from Northumbria University, he joined the adviser network company, Quilter Financial Planning, for two years. Following this he joined Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers in Chester where he qualified through the graduate scheme, gaining a Diploma in Financial Advice. Oliver prides himself on his ability to engage with people and build long-term relationships. He provides holistic financial advice, however his main area of expertise is working with private investors to meet their investment and retirement planning requirements.

With 15 years industry experience he is based in Edinburgh and joined Quilter Private Client Advisers to help the firm grow the business in Scotland following the acquisition of Prescient Financial Intelligence.

Neil specialises in building and developing strong relationships with clients, working carefully to identify key objectives and utilising the latest technology in order to construct effective, actionable financial plans. He prides himself on providing advice in an open, honest and friendly manner, helping to simplify what can sometimes be incredibly complex issues.
