Richard has worked in financial services for over 30 years and has held many senior management roles leading teams of financial planners in the insurance, wealth management and banking sectors. For the past six years Richard has lead a large team of regulated financial services professionals working alongside the industry regulator (the FCA) and a number of large financial institutions. He has developed and implemented a number of processes that have resulted in ‘quality’ outcomes for clients. He joined Quilter Private Client Advisers in 2017 and now has the responsibility for the growth and development of the Yorkshire and Birmingham regions, drawing on his considerable experience and expertise in the industry.

Richard created and drove Premier Planning for over 40 years before becoming part of Quilter Private Client Advisers. He felt that taking his whole team to the biggest financial advisory firm in the UK gave his clients the continuity, quality of service, and peace of mind they deserved. Julie has been advising both individual and corporate clients for over 16 years. She advises on all aspects of financial planning including pensions (pre and post retirement), investments and inheritance tax planning. She also specialises in later life planning which enables her to provide bespoke advice and guidance for elderly clients and anyone in care, going into care or receiving care at home. Julie is very passionate about this area of financial planning and is fully accredited with the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA), which is the gold standard accreditation for providing advice to later-life clients.

Lauren is originally from Edinburgh and after moving down to London for university and graduating in marketing she joined the adviser network company, Quilter Financial Planning, for two years. She then joined the Financial Adviser School where she achieved a Diploma in Financial Advice. Lauren specialises in giving holistic financial advice to individuals on their investments and retirement planning needs. She is a strong believer in putting the customer first and building long lasting relationships with her clients.

He is always helping clients with the complexities around wealth, seeking to strengthen clients’ financial positions and protect their wealth now and in the future. Ian has a number of clients that he has worked with for over 20 years.

Tony has gained over 35 years’ experience in the financial world and is proud of the fact that many of his original clients and their families still remain with him today.

He has developed a particular interest in post-retirement planning but his expertise extends across the board, seeing him provide advice on issues such as saving, investment, and wealth protection. Tony looks after a wide range of clients spread throughout the UK but predominantly based in Shropshire and Wales, from large corporate organisations through to private individuals.

Having been in the industry for over 25 years, Lorraine has developed a broad range of knowledge in many areas of financial planning. She is responsible for working with High Net Worth clients to create and implement tailored advice both before and during retirement. Her aim is to understand clients to help them achieve their goals and objectives with cash-flow planning being an important part of this, when appropriate. She works collaboratively with Professional Advisers to enhance client outcomes and enjoys building long term relationships. Lorraine also specialises in giving advice on Defined Benefits transfer.

Helping with the complexities around wealth she is always seeking to strengthen client’s financial position to protect their wealth now and in the future.

Victoria’s aim for her clients is to provide them with peace of mind, freeing up their time so that they can focus on the other things; hopefully the things that they enjoy whilst knowing that the financial aspects of their life are taken care of.

Paul is now a Financial Planner with Quilter Private Client Advisers and works closely with existing clients to help them facilitate their own financial plans before and during Retirement.

James is a Financial Planner and Wealth Manager. Originally from Cheltenham, he is now based from our Birmingham office.

James has just under 20 years of experience in financial services with the majority of that time spent working with large professional firms advising private individuals. James’s clients are typically business owners, company directors, professionals and private individuals and families who require tailored and professional advice on their personal financial arrangements. His areas of expertise include, pension funding, retirement planning, investment planning and Inheritance Tax planning.

Heather chose to begin her career as a Financial Planner after spending time as a Debt Adviser, where she came to understand the value of financial security. Prior to this, Heather graduated with a 1st in English Literature from Aberystwyth University, and went on to teach undergraduate English and Cultural Studies in China.

Heather graduated from the Financial Adviser School with her Diploma in Financial Advice, and has been with Quilter Private Client Advisers since 2017. She is passionate about helping her clients build robust financial plans, and navigate their way to achieving their goals.
